Needed

Volunteers needed for organizing pool social functions/social committee! Please contact Kelly Coakley.

Pool Party Information

The pool and picnic table area can be used for your gatherings. The clubhouse is a separate entity and can be rented for a minimal fee. For clubhouse rental please contact, JoAnna Hunsucker. To hold your gathering at the pool, please contact a pool committee person to book your event so there aren't conflicting events. A calendar will be posted with each month's events. If your party has ten kids or more on a weekend, you will need to hire an additional guard for your function. This is to be done at your event to ensure a second guard can be secured. There is a two hour minimum at $18.00 per hour per guard, making a minimum of $36.00. Checks are to be made payable to Paul Maloney and are due on the day of the event, please give the check to the lifeguard on duty.

The following is the guard per attendance ratio for special events which is stated in our contract with the pool company:

1-30 persons: one guard
31-60 persons: two guards
61-100 persons: three guards

Remember, the guard on duty at the pool is there for all Lansdowne residents, so even if you are not having 31 people at your function, adding your attendees may bump up the numbers of swimmers which would require additional guards.

Lost and Found Items

There is a tub located near the water hose which houses lost and found items. Please check the bin before you leave to retrieve items which you may have forgotten. Every Monday the bin will be cleaned out and all unclaimed items will be given to charity. We hope to avoid previous years mold infested clothes and towel situation.
